Hiring a contractor to work on your home can be an uncertain “adventure.” The good news is that if you are aware of a few things, you can be confident that you are hiring someone whom you can trust with your property.
- The first question to ask a contractor is if they are insured. If a company is not insured, a customer may not be reimbursed for any accidental damage that may occur. As a customer you want to be confident that your items will be and are protected.
- Secondly, a good question to ask is if they have any prior experience working in a customer service related position. It is important to know if those you will be hiring are able to give you a quality customer experience. As a customer it is important to know that the communication process will be smooth and that the work will get done on time. In addition, in the rare instance you would be unsatisfied with your service, you want to be sure that the concern is resolved quickly and respectfully.
